Can the workflow restore the exact prior state after a partial, duplicate, or incorrect action, and has that path been tested?

Example

Keeping old CRM values is not enough unless an operator can reliably restore them after a failed multi-record update.

What to record

For rollback to be operational rather than a reassuring label, record the before-state, action identifier, restoration procedure, authorization, test result, and recovery limit. If those facts cannot be observed or tested, do not treat the term itself as evidence that the workflow is safe.
